Kian and Tindra picked me up from the airport and we went for breakfast at his sisters place. The weather is cool and the sky cloudy. The only clothes I brought were from the summer tour, so it looks like I'll have to go shopping for some sweaters. Oh darn.

Making My Way Home
Tour is over so I hitched a ride with our merchandise truck drivers (and their little dog too!) from Houston to Dallas. It was a dream I never knew I had! My first trip in a Semi.

Chris Cornell
Since it's the last night of tour Corban and I actually had time to go to the show! We didn't expect to stay long for Cornell's set, but it turned out to be a very entertaining show. Great performers, and it didn't hurt that they played a lot of Soundgarden songs!

The Double Wide
The end of tour party at the Double Wide in Dallas. It was a circus theme complete with a balloon blowing man on stilts, vodka snow cones, and cotton candy. Every rock stars dream. Corban went as a clown, I went as a fortune teller, and here's another gal dressed as a woopie cushion!

Bee
What inspires me most about nature is it's effortless beauty and it's ability to just be (no pun intended.) I, on the other hand, am still learning the art of not being a do-er. I must let go more, and allow myself time and space to grow and flourish naturally, with no effort or strain. Like a bee. On a flower. Collecting pollen. Just for today.

Craig and Me
Here's my wild cave exploring, anthropology (and I aint talkin the store ladies) friend, Craig. We used to work together at Starbuck's in college. It was great to meet up for a couple of days with him and his wife Susie, who is equally as wild and anthropological, and loves antiques! Here we are at the best pizza joint in St. Louis. Craig you'll have to leave a comment and tell the hungry people where we are at... I forgot!

Home Is Where My Kristin Is
Had a quick moment in L.A. where I got to hang out with Kristin (who is sub-letting my room until I return). We went for dinner at Zen Cu in Little Tokyo where we discovered their Calamari Eggplant Appetizer which taste like a funnel cake. An excellent Sushi pairing. Probably my most favorite appetizer ever because it's like having desert first... legally.

The Thing?
If you've ever had the pleasure of driving from Texas to California along the scenic 10 Freeway, then you know about "The Thing" whether you have stopped there or not. For 120 miles there are signs predicting the coming of "The Thing" in NM. Sure enough it comes, and for .50c you can put the maddening mystery of "The Thing" to rest in your mind and actually sleep peacefully that night. This is my second time to see "The Thing." When I pass by here again I will no doubt stop again to see "The Thing." Next time you pass by here you should be sure to stop in and see "The Thing." And be sure to tell him/her/it I said hello.

After having dinner at a mexican cantina/ tequila bar Corban called her friend to see if they had a spare room we could stay in for the night. "Actually" they said, "we have a spare house." They had just moved out so like a squatter we crashed on an air mattress in a big empty house.
